Accessing WebAssign

How do I log in?

You can access WebAssign using HuskyCT. Just go to our section's page, and click the link for "WebAssign Homework" on the left. If you are having trouble logging in, try using another browser. Internet Explorer and Safari do NOT appear to work. Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome appear to work. Click to enlarge the screenshot below.

I am using the correct login page. Why is it still asking me for a username and password?

You should try installing and using the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome web browser.

How do I access the eBook and the end of section problems?

If you have the hybrid textboook book, you must use the eBook to see the end of section problems. You can access the online textbook by logging into WebAssign and selecting "My Books" in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Problems with Individual Questions

WebAssign is behaving strangely. What should I do?

Try restarting your browser and/or your entire computer. Leaving WebAssign open (or your computer on) for a long time can cause things to slow down, and perhaps cause strange errors. Also try using a friend's computer.

I have restarted my computer and it still doesn't work

Come talk to me! I'd be happy to help you figure out what is going wrong.

I think my answer is correct, but WebAssign doesn't accept it

This is unlikely. Thousands of students uses these problems each year, so coding typos are usually found and corrected. You might be inputting the answer incorrectly.

If you are certain that your answer is correct, come talk to me. We can figure out where you or they have gone wrong!
